The Saltmen went into the game as clear favorites against lowly Wyrley, and Spa soon stamped their dominance on the game, creating a multitude of first half chances.
The game was played in Wyrley's half with Brad Burgess and Haydn Morris having alot of joy down either flank which caused the hosts problems.
The first chance of the game came on just 2 minutes as Connor Collins forced Ryan Lees into a smart stop, and Spa's top scorer fired wide a few minutes later.
James Lemon, Ben Tilbury and Brad Burgess were also denied by the home 'keeper and Haydn Morris also missed the target when well positioned. The winger also had an attempt direct from a corner palmed clear by Lees at the near post, but from the resulting set-piece, Spa eventually took the lead.
Morris's corner was aimed again towards the near post and Alex Dugmore powered in a header which gave Lees no chance.
The chances kept coming for Droitwich and Brad Burgess hit the post and James Lemon also had a good shout for a penalty turned down and the half ended with the Worcestershire side a goal to the good.
Wyrley reacted in the second half, and Spa struggled to keep up the momentum. Matt Oliver was seldom troubled,however Wyrley were enjoying a lot more possession and were able to nullify any Droitwich threat at the other end.
The inevitable equalizer came with 20 minutes to go, as good work down the left from substitute Sam Lynex and a pin-point cross found the head of Jack Nixon who, without a marker in sight, powered home a close range header.
The Saltmen tried to get back on top, but Lemon, substitute Jordan Cox and Collins were all denied.
In injury time however, from another Spa corner, Ryan Lees pulled out all the stops to deny first James Lemon before quickly getting up to pound away Matty Hunt's close range rebound to ensure a share of the spoils.
