The Saltmen went down by 3 goals to 2 against near neighbors Bromyard Town, with some quality goals at either end to boot.
Droitwich started on the front foot and had countless chances to take the lead inside the opening 15 minutes. The post denied Burgess, Tilbury and Davies, whilst an excellent goal-line clearance from Tom Riley preserved the 0-0 score-line.
That was until great work from Haydn Morris threading the ball through to Bradley Burgess, who cut inside and thundered the ball into the top corner giving Jake Bobo in the home goal no chance.
There were further half-chances at both ends with Bobo the busier of the two keepers, but the rest of the first half was a midfield battle which looked like ending in the home sides favor until a couple of minutes before the break when Max Crisp dangled a leg to bring down Jake Hollylee in the penalty area, and Ryan Glenister expertly dispatched the spot kick sending Oliver the wrong way to give parity to the score-line.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Spa making inroads without the killer instinct in front of goal, whilst the woodwork saved Bobo and Bromyard once more.
Jack Allerton put Spa back in the lead with a goal of the season contender - his powerful low drive flew into the bottom corner on 54 minutes.
Bromyard hit back again though; Town substitute Sam Cupper turned Max Crisp, took a couple of touches before launching a fierce drive on the half volley from distance which left Oliver clasping at thin air.
Droitwich seemed to run out of ideas at this stage offering little as an attacking force, and Bromyard took full advantage as Jake Hollylee escaped his marker and finished well to give Town all three points with only their 3rd effort on target and condemn the Saltmen to their 7th league defeat of the season.
