Droitwich Spa registered their 3rd consecutive win, scoring 14 goals over the 3 games - this time a 7-0 success over bottom side Telford Juniors.
It didn't take long for Spa to take the lead after good work from James Lemon teed up Bradley Burgess whose shot was diverted in by an unfortunate Telford defender.
It was 2-0 soon after as Lemon netted his 25th of the season, and 49th of 2018 and Spa were well in control.
The Saltmen, despite the thumping victory, also contrived to miss several excellent chances, however the game was put beyond the visitors midway through the half as Dan Cottrill, in inspired form over recent weeks, headed home a rebound after the Telford 'keeper had made a good save and Spa went into the break 3-0 to the good.
Matt Oliver in the home goal was seldom troubled, and 3 goals early in the second half from first Curtis Townley, and then a double from Brad Burgess in the space of a minute put Spa into a six-goal lead and it was damaged limitation from then on for the struggling Telford side.
More chances came and went for Droitwich, but they did eventually get a 7th of the afternoon when substitute Callum Morris netted shortly after coming on thanks to good work from Ben Tilbury. It was the youngsters first goal in the league for the first team.
Spa rounded off their home campaign of 2018 in style, with just 4 defeats at Walshes Meadow in all competitions this calendar year and currently sit 2nd in the table with a goal difference of +40.
