The Saltmen suffered their first defeat since March after a lacklustre against a physical, technical and overall impressive Northfield Town side.
The first half was a relatively open affair with plenty of chances at both ends.
Benet Parchment missed the first chance just a few minutes in - a low cross from the right hand side eluded everyone including the former Barnt Green target man.
At the other end, Macauley Finch twice and James Lemon both had excellent chances to get on the score-sheet and Curtis Townley also came close with an effort at the far post.
Spa were having some joy getting in behind the Town back-line for the first 45minutes but it wasnt until mid-way through the half when James Lemon's deflected free-kick broke the deadlock.
Parchment's shot on the turn which flashed just wide should have been a warning sign to the hosts, but Northfield were soon level as more good work down the right flank produced a cross for Garmston to fire in for a deserved equaliser and a 1-1 score-line at the break.
Droitwich started the second period promisingly without testing Davies in the Town goal.
Unfortunately for the rest of the half Northfield looked very organised and chances on their goal were at a premium as the Saltmen lacked invention as their long ball tactic was snuffed out time and again.
Northfield took the lead courtesy of Benet Parchment on 58 minutes, and they got a third to really put the game out of sight when a deep cross wasn't cleared by Crowther's tame header and Garmston was there unmarked to thunder a volley into the roof of the net past a helpless Matt Oliver.
The introduction of a lively Dan Cottrill for his first team debut gave Spa a bit of a lift, but a disappointing performance all in all against a Town side that simply wanted the points more than their hosts.
