The Saltmen got back to winning ways on Tuesday evening at local rivals Fairfield Villa to achieve a 100% record over their near neighbours for the first time in the club's 31 year history.
After a string of below par performances, Droitwich started brightly and maintained possesion well in the oppositions half, playing their neat passing game that had eluded them in recent weeks.
Their first real chance came on 15 minutes when a deep cross from James Lemon to the back post should have been converted by Nick Seabourne, however he couldn't get full connection on the ball.
Fairfield then held their own for most of the rest of the half - albeit without seriously troubling Matt Oliver in the visitors' goal.
Droitwich had a good chance towards the end of the half when Mark Burrows' header from a Luke Molloy corner came back off the bar with the referee waving away Spa's protests for hand-ball.
Dark clouds had rolled over-head and a 10 minute spell of hail-stones ensued before the referee blew his whistle for half time.
Spa came out and immediately upped the anti in the second period - Luke Molloy and Nick Seabourne were causing mayhem down the flanks and it was the latter who opened the scoring on 55minutes.
Tidy pass and go move between Seabourne, Macaulay Finch and James Lemon resulted in Seabourne tapping home from a few yards out after strong play from Lemon claiming the assist.
More chances came and went for Molloy and Seabourne, but the best chance fell to the visitors as Adam Grainger's inexplicable header back into the danger area was collected by Hall whose fierce shot was well saved by Oliver.
Droitwich then added to their lead with just under 20 minutes remaining. On the break- Molloy and Lemon at the heart of things again - the latter's low, drilled cross was inadvertantly diverted into his own net by the unfortunate David Rousell.
Just 3 minutes later some more excellent work by Molloy - his low cross was converted comfortably by Man of the Match Max Crisp from 12 yards out to seal a well earned victory.
