Droitwich Spa registered their first Away win of the campaign with a 1-2 victory at Bradford Town on Saturday.
The Saltmen have been defeated just once in their last 7 League games and with the three points registered in Wiltshire, sit comfortably in mid table with games in hand.
The hosts started the game on the front foot as Droitwich looked nervy, and it didn't take long for Town to take the lead, as Spa failed to clear their lines, Leo Gallazi fired a thunderous volley into the net from the edge of the area, giving Rogerson no chance.
The Saltmen grew into the game, and James Lemon's cross shot was palmed away low down by Tom Roberts in the Town goal, narrowly avoiding the onrushing George Dalton.
Chances were at a premium and defences were on top. Nathan Binner, Curtis Smith and Sam Hurdman all had attempts at the home goal but none of them could work Roberts.
At the other end Dom Rogerson controlled his area well, intercepting several crosses whilst Brandon Oputeri & Charlie Maddison were also off target with their opportunities.
Spa were thrown a lifeline a few minutes before the half time whistle when Haydn Morris, shaping to shoot from 12 yards was clumsily upended and the referee pointed to the spot.
Nathan Binner confidently converted the penalty to send the sides in level at 1-1, which was a fair reflection of the first half.
Droitwich came quicky out of the blocks in the 2nd half with some quick passing and more purposeful attacks.
Sam Hurdman produced a brilliant save from Roberts, who somehow tipped his top corner bound volley away for a corner.
Spa turned the game on its head on 57 minutes as the ball found it's way to Lewis Phillips, who scored his 4th Spa goal in his 223rd appearance with a powerful low drive from 18 yards that went through a crowd of bodies and into the net.
The Saltmen managed the game well and restricted Bradford to a couple of half chances for the remaining 35 minutes; substitute Harvey Woods missed the target, then Rogerson made a comfortable save from Ashton Arlow's long range effort, meanwhile Droitwich remained a threat on the counter attack.
Quentin Townsend's men saw the contest out and on the second half performance merited their first three points on the road.
Next Saturday (ko 3pm), Droitwich return to Kingy's against Fairford Town looking to extend their good form, before a run of six consecutive Away games.
