The Saltmen continued a fine streak of form now stretching an unbeaten run to 8 games after a 2-1 win over Wootton Bassett.
Droitwich came quickly out of the blocks, over-running their Wiltshire visitors as Adam House did well to save an early Dugmore effort.
Spa didn’t have to wait long for their early running to be rewarded as a deep cross to the back post found Charlie Tilley, who smashed home a volley giving House no chance on 7 minutes.
Most of the 223 in attendance expected Droitwich to rally and go in search of a second goal, but Bassett were resolute, and Spa conceded possession as the game balanced out.
It was Town that could have equalised first through a Marcel Lewis volley from 20-yards, then Dom Rogerson pulled off a fine save to deny Bassett defender Ed Taylor from point blank range midway through the half.
That shook Droitwich back into life and first Moss was denied by a brave block, then Jack Brighton’s free kick could only find the side-netting.
Moss did double the hosts’ lead on 40 minutes, when his direct free kick squirmed under House’s dive to nestle into the bottom corner.
Reiss Taylor-Randle thought he’d scored his 4th in 4 games and Spa’s 3rd of the afternoon a few minutes into the second half after good work from Dugmore, but the linesman raised his flag and the goal was chalked off.
Barely 1 minute later and a driving run down the left flank and low cross by Otis Lewis served Kassa Anderson with a close range finish that he couldn’t miss, and Town were back in the game.
It was an end-to-end affair as Droitwich hit back through Moss & Tilley, only to be denied by House, whilst at the other end the introduction of Bonsa Teshome destabilized the Spa defence, but Rogerson was also equal to his effort.
The visitors huffed and puffed in search of an equaliser, but they couldn’t break the Droitwich backline down with chances were at a premium for the remainder of the game. The Saltmen looked more dangerous going forward but, with a strong wind behind them, lacked precision in the final ball.
The only talking point being Sam Hurdman’s introduction, then within 15 minutes two yellow cards for unsportsmanlike behaviour and time wasting on 90 minutes. Droitwich held on comfortably to the win to stay at the top of the League table.
