Droitwich Spa registered a third straight victory in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Division 1 against Kidlington Reserves on Saturday.
It was a slow burner of a game as the temperature registered 27 degrees at Kingys, and both sides felt the full effects of the heat and struggled to create any meaningful chances for the first 20 minutes.
Spa came closest as Hurdman's driving run and cross for Perry Moss was fired wide.
However the Saltmen kept pushing and on 25 minutes a tidy move down the right and cross from Moss was only cleared as far as Nathan Binner, who fired a precision low drive into Tom Barnett's bottom corner from 20-yards to give the home side the lead.
The chances began to flow and Barnett did well to deny Tilley's powerful header from distance, and Moss's effort.
Droitwich doubled their lead moments before half time with the goal of the game; Moss picked the ball up 25-yards out, catching Barnett off his line, a dipping curled effort found the top corner.
The visitors, who had offered little in the way of attacking threat, had the first opportunity of the 2nd period when Adam Smith beat the offside trap, but a heavy touch let him down as Rogerson was alert to claim the ball at his feet.
Droitwich hit immediately on the counter and Hurdman chipped the onrushing Barnett but his attempt fell just the wrong side of the post.
It was 3-0 on 55 minutes as a pinpoint cross from Tilley found an unmarked Dugmore at the back post to head home.
Just 6 minutes later and Moss rounded off the scoring as he intercepted a poor pass out from the Kidlington defence and finished clinically when through one against one.
Kidlington were plucky and kept fighting and should have scored at least once before the end.
First Rogerson tipped over Will Baker's long range effort, and from the resulting corner a free header was placed over the bar.
The towering Joey Aust should have got his name on the score sheet as well when he could only find the woodwork from close range.
At the other end Edmonds, Tilley (twice), Moss and Rudd all came close to adding a fifth but the Saltmen will be pleased with the four goals, three points and a clean sheet, even if they didn't hit the heights of last Tuesday's performance.
Up next on Tuesday night Andy Crowther's men travel to Cheltenham Saracens (ko 7.45pm) before hosting Carterton next Saturday at Kingys (ko 3pm).
