Droitwich Spa and Ashby Ivanhoe shared the points after an enthralling 3-3 draw at Kingys.
Spa were looking to put the disappointing defeat at Shawbury from a couple of weeks ago to the back of their minds, but in the first half it looked like the Saltmen still had a hangover, as Ashby, who hadn't played a League game for 26 days, were much the better side.
The Knights opened the scoring as some weak home defending allowed Chris Acott in to calmly slide the ball passed Matt Oliver.
Spa enjoyed some decent possession and created several chances, but, on a difficult surface, the game was dogged by mis-placed passes from both sides who struggled to create any fluent passing moves throughout, however in the first half Ashby were certainly more effective and efficient with their play.
The visitors will feel aggrieved to have not been awarded what looked like a clear penalty when Dugmore brought down Acott in the area, and soon after Jack Brighton was lucky to get away with just a yellow card when Acott again skipped several rash attempts at a tackle, only to be brought down by the Droitwich right back when through on goal.
With 5-minutes to play before the half time whistle, a perfect chipped through ball from Acott split the Spa defence and found leading scorer Sam Grouse who made no mistake by slipping the ball passed the onrushing Oliver before taunting the home fans with his celebration to give the visitors a deserved 2-0 lead.
As the two sides headed for the dressing rooms it was difficult to see a way back for the Saltmen, however after what must have been a rousing team talk from Andy Crowther, Spa came out with their tails up for the second half and produced a much more positive display.
James Lemon reduced the arrears on 52 minutes with a fine dipping effort that caught Tom Dyche off his line.
Matt Hunt then drew Spa level after the rebound to his header fell kindly enough for the centre back to smash home from close range.
Perry Moss then had an effort brilliantly cleared off the line with Dyche beaten, but Droitwich succeeded to turn the game on it's head with 20 minutes to play as Moss's chipped cross found the head of Connor Collins who headed in from close range to the delight of most of the Kingys crowd.
The lead didn't last long however, as a bullet header from Jacob Conkay from a corner gave Oliver no chance with 15 minutes to play.
Both Collins and Dugmore went close before the end, whilst for the Knights several efforts from range were comfortably stopped by Matt Oliver, and the two sides had to settle for a share of the points over a highly entertaining 90 minutes, a result which certainly benefits Droitwich more than Ashby.
Elsewhere, OJM Black Country saw their game postponed, whilst in the Black Country derby, Dudley Town got the better of Bilston Town, 3-1.
The other remaining side in the playoffs and next Saturday's visitors Hinckley AFC blew away Wolverhampton Sporting 8-1.
Next up for Spa is a Worcestershire Senior Cup Quarter Final against Pershore Town on Tuesday night (ko 7.45pm) at Kingy's.
