Spa got off to the best possible start, as just 4 minutes in Captain James Lemon calmly slipped the ball under home 'keeper Shay Abell when through one on one.

The Saltmen could have doubled their lead soon after, when Perry Moss's chipped effort from a tight angle was tipped on to the cross-bar by a back-peddling Abell.

Callum Green and Connor Collins also came close, whilst Moss's curling effort from distance fell just the wrong side of the post.

Ingles had a good 15-minute spell of pressure in the Spa half, and Matt Oliver saved well with his feet from Ben Tansley's close range effort.
Soon after the hosts drew level when Jack Brighton lost his footing on the touchline, and Jamie Felstead took full advantage as his cross-shot was guided into the net by Tansley.

It didn't take Spa long to regain the advantage; Brighton's corner was flicked on by Green at the near post, and a floundering Abell could only help the ball into his own net, and Droitwich took a 1-2 lead in to the half time break.

Spa again started the 2nd period on the front foot, and Brighton should have increased the lead after capitalising on Abell's parry, but his shot cleared the goal frame from close range.
The hosts then equalised when Tansley muscled his way through the Spa defence and made no mistake, beating Oliver at his near post.

Once again, Spa rallied and within 5 minutes were back in front.
Great work down the right from Moss, whose low cross found an unmarked Connor Collins who couldn't miss from yards out.

Ollie Thompson's introduction breathed new life in to Spa, causing the home defence all kinds of problems, and the lively winger gave Droitwich a 2-goal cushion when he raced clear of the Ingles defence to finish emphatically.

The hosts didn't lie down, and 10 minutes from time pulled one back through Sean Bennett after some sloppy Droitwich defending.

There was still time for Charlie Tilley to run clear of the home defence, but his well hit shot came back off the post.
Spa saw out the remainder of the game comfortably, to clinch another important 3 points, and maintain a winning start to the season.
