The midfielder is a product of Droitwich Spa Youth & Development FC, and made his first team debut in August 2022, during a 2-0 win over Coventry Copsewood.

He went on to make 67 appearances to date, scoring 13 goals.

Sam suffered a serious injury in 2023 that kept him sidelined for almost 18 months, but last season was back on the pitch contributing to a 3rd placed League finish as Spa also reached the Play-off Final.

He's won a promotion and appeared in two Play-off Finals to date.

Despite receiving offers to play higher up in the Non-League Football pyramid, Sam is the 14th player from last season's squad who stays at Droitwich under the new Management team.
