Joe is a product of the youth system, coming through the Under-18's & Under-21's, before making his first team debut in October 2023 in a 3-1 home win over Smethwick Rangers.

Comfortable in any position across the back four, Clayts appeared in 23 of 27 games this season for Andy Crowther's side, and also made 30 appearances in the Division 1 Championship winning campaign.

In total, Joe has worn the Spa shirt on 68 occasions.
