Droitwich Spa FC would like to recognize the efforts and contributions of the following 12 players to our club, as this summer they have decided to move on.

We've broken down their stats whilst at Kingy's below.

Matt Jackson
A left back who signed for Spa in 2023 from Stourport Swifts, where he was part of the squad that won the Worcestershire Senior Cup.
Unfortunately his spell at Kingy's was hampered by injuries that kept him on the side-lines for long periods, however he made 44 appearances in 3 years.
Jacko levels up to Step 4 with a move to Sutton Coldfield Town.

Charlie Tilley
Chaz joined The Saltmen in 2019 and went on to make 208 appearances, scoring 45 goals from central midfield.
Unbelievable stamina and commitment week in, week out for several years, Charlie is moving to Rugby Town who were relegated to Step 5 last season. He will be up against all new opposition with the Butlin Road club and they will play in the United Counties League.

Jack Brighton
JB had two spells with Droitwich, starting in 2016 until 2018, before returning in 2022.
One of the first names on the team sheet and a fan favourite at Kingy's, Jack made 222 appearances, scoring 8 goals.
He leaves the club to join Sporting Club Inkberrow at Step 4.

Will Dallaway
A product of the Droitwich Youth system, Dalla also had two spells at Kingy's, where in total he scored 3 goals in 25 first team appearances with a season at Hereford Pegasus in between. At The Red Men he won several end of season awards in 2024-25
Dalla stays at Step 5 but returns to Hereford where he links up with Peggy's city rivals Westfields.

Liam Livesey
Forward Liam Livesey came through the Youth set up at Spa, where he scored a hatful for the Under 18 and Development sides.
He made 14 first team appearances over the last two season without finding the net, however his progress was hampered with an injury that cut his season short.

Sam Hurdman
Another player who came up through the youth ranks at Droitwich, Sam made 68 appearances scoring 13 goals during his time at the club which stretches 4 years at first team level. Unfortunately, his minutes were limited due to two serious injuries.

Ben Tilbury
Tilbs also had two spells with the Saltmen, with 114 appearances and 41 goals. Playing out wide, up front, central midfield and more recently at centre back, he's also appeared for Stourport Swifts, Worcester City & Pershore Town.
Tilbs remains at Step 5 in the Hellenic League Premier where he joins Westfields.

Reiss Taylor-Randle
Reiss signed for Spa in the summer of 2025 after spells at Kidderminster Harriers, Worcester City & Studley.
He made 49 appearances in total, scoring 15 goals last season, and he also decided to move on to Westfields under new Manager Danny Janes.

James Baldwin
Balders returned to the club at the turn of the year from Redditch Borough, making 15 appearances scoring 3 goals last season.
He started his career at Droitwich and in total made 39 appearances and 15 goals for Spa.
Having played for clubs including Worcester City, Worcester Raiders, Pershore Town & Stourport Swifts, Balders is yet another of last years' squad that moves to Westfields.

Soms Sibanda
Soms joined the club last season from Studley, and made 9 appearances scoring two goals.
He went on loan to Wednesfield at the back end of last season and netted 3 goals in 14 games. Ultimately the Cottagers were relegated as they finished 1 point from safety, but Soms continues at Step 6 with a new challenge in the North West Counties League.

Jay Sauntson
Last seasons' Vice-Captain and an experienced centre back, Jay signed for the club in March 2023.
He won promotion in 24/25 with Spa, reached the Play-Off Final last season, and made a total of 87 appearances. Jay also found the net twice.
He's a fifth Spa player to join Westfields.

Josh Hurdman
Josh came through the Youth system at Spa, and made his first team debut at just 16 years old.
With many important contributions, previously also turning down several offers from higher up the Pyramid, Josh decided to make the move to Step 4 and SC Inkberrow.
In total he made 116 appearances with 51 goals.

Once again, we would like to put on record our appreciation and gratitude for the commitment, loyalty and efforts of all the above listed players, who collectively made over 900 appearances for Droitwich Spa FC, and played a big part in our success over the last 8 years.
