Whilst we can’t shy away from the disappointing result on Saturday, we have to applaud the overall performance of the team over the whole season. They have equipped themselves at this level, and have been admired and respected throughout the league.

With our performance at Step 5 and involvement in the FA Cup, we can regard ourselves as a proper non league club.

As a club we also have to praise our supporters. On Saturday the behaviour was exceptional, and in particular contrast to events at two other play off matches over the weekend.
This has not gone unnoticed.

We will pause, very briefly, and continue preparations for next season.

The goalposts come down on Monday, and the pitch contractor starts on Tuesday ( yes, those sandy goalmouths).

During the football summer we will discuss plans with the management team and coaches, engage with supporters, and will be enhancing our commercial offering.
