On Saturday there will be a first ever fixture between Bradford Town and Droitwich Spa in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.

Last season, the Wiltshire club finished the Western League in 10th position, and made a lateral movement back into the Hellenic League Premier Division after 3 years away.

Town started this campaign with two straight victories, also without conceding a goal, however in their 3rd game; a 2-0 FA Cup defeat at Millbrook, Town have really struggled for form and slid down to 18th in the League table having played 14 games.

With just two League wins since the beginning of August and one victory in their last six outings, where Town have scored 6 goals, Manager Chris Carr will be looking to get back to winning ways against in-form Droitwich.
Town's leading scorer is Jack Newman with 4 goals in 12 appearances, whilst Charlie Maddison has found the back of the net twice in 7 games, including Bradford's solitary goal in last weeks' 2-1 defeat at strugglers Hallen.

Bradford have played just 6 home games to date, but their record at Trowbridge Road has been disappointing with 2 wins from 6, having scored 5 goals.

Droitwich come into the game in good form, scoring 10 goals in the last two League games and suffering just 1 defeat in the last six. Spa will no doubt be aiming for all three points this weekend to continue their charge up the table, where they have several games in hand over most sides.

However, The Saltmen are yet to register a League victory away from Kingy's, with two draws (coming in their last two away games) and three defeats.
Quentin Townsend's men go into the game high on confidence after a good streak of form but continue to be without Perry Moss (serving the last of a 3 game suspension after receiving a red card at Thornbury) and Rohan Levy (injured), whilst Captain James Lemon will be assessed ahead of the game after picking up a knock last week.

There is a coach running to the game, and there just a few seats remaining.

£15 each, leaving at 11.30am from Droitwich Leisure Centre.

We look forward to seeing the Spa faithful there and wish you a safe journey.
