The Saltmen are back at Kingy's again this Saturday (ko 3pm) when Cribbs are the visitors in the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division.
It's been a difficult start to the campaign for both sides, and the Bristol based side currently sit bottom of the table on 5 points.
Their solitary win came one month ago, when they ran out 1-3 winners in the local derby against Hallen.
Since then, five straight defeats have followed where Cribbs have conceded 15 goals, scoring four.
The two sides met a few weeks ago at Kingy's, but due to a serious injury sustained by Oli Hanham, the game was abandoned shortly before the 30 minute mark.
Oli has undergone surgery since then, and we are pleased to hear that, whilst his season looks to be over, he is making a good recovery to date.
For this match, we are offering free admission to all.
We will be fundraising on the day with a bucket collection, and proceeds will go towards supporting Oli with his recovery.
We ask you to kindly donate what you can afford (cash only). The buckets will be located at the turnstiles when entering the ground.
We hope to see a big crowd and also to raise a symbolic amount for Oli.
Droitwich, despite a 3-0 Cup defeat at higher-ranked Inkberrow on Tuesday evening, go into the game in good form that has seen them steadily rise up the table.
Quentin Townsend and his team will be looking at the October fixtures with a view to gaining maximum points, with games at Bradford Town and at Home to Fairford before the month is out.
The Saltmen have lost just once in their last five League games, and lost only once at Home in the League since August.
Rohan Levy (injured) and Perry Moss (suspended) will be out of contention for the Saltmen for this encounter.
Meanwhile James Lemon is only one goal away from a landmark 250 goals for Droitwich Spa FC, and he will be looking to achieve that feat during appearance number 380 on Saturday afternoon!
As ever we have two bars, burger van, tea shack and club shop all open and printed matchday programmes on sale. Parking is free.
Covered seating and terracing is available.
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult.
Let's pack out Kingy's this Saturday! We look forward to seeing you all there.
