Droitwich Spa face Mangotsfield United this coming Saturday (ko 3pm) at Kingy's.

The Mango's have had a good start to 2026-27 season, having lost just once in their opening six games.
On Tuesday evening, they held Corsham to a 2-2 draw to knock the Wiltshire side off the top of the table. United still have at least two games in hand on all of the sides above, and after a disappointing 2025-26 season where they finished 13th, United will this season be looking to challenge the play-offs and even top spot.

A staple side higher up the pyramid for over 20 years, Mangotsfield have progressed to the Isuzu FA Vase 1st Round, and earned an FA Cup Replay with Gloucester City after a 1-1 away draw a couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately United were unable to produce a Cup upset as they were defeated 0-4 in the Replay.

United have lost just once away from home from 7 fixtures in all competitions, and that came on the opening day at Fairford Town (1-0). They have conceded just 3 goals in those 7 games away from Cossham Street.

Owen Pritchard, Curtis Jemmett-Hutson and James Horrocks have all contributed with 3 goals each this season, and United have goal threats from across the pitch.

Droitwich go in to the game after successive away defeats at Corsham & Wootton Bassett, but their performances will give them plenty of confidence for Saturday.
The Saltmen played barely half an hour of Tuesday night's home fixture with Cribbs, before the Referee abandoned the game due to a horrific injury sustained by Cribbs' Oli Hanham after an awkward landing.
Prior to that, Spa had managed an encouraging 0-0 draw with Highworth (having played over an hour with 10 men) before a 7-2 thumping of Stourport over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Droitwich won both meetings last season (0-1 at Cossham Street and 4-0 at Kingy's) however Mangotsfield will go in to this game as favourites due to their League position and excellent away form.
