The Saltmen return to action on Tuesday evening with a Home game against Cinderford Town at Kingy's (ko 7.45pm).
The fixture is matchday two of the Uhlsport Hellenic League Premier Division 2026-27 season, the last League game before the Division takes a break for FA Cup football at the weekend.
Tuesday's adversaries will both be looking to register their first points of the season, as both tasted away defeats on Saturday; Droitwich at Roman Glass (1-0) and Cinderford at Bradford Town (2-0).
Last season, while Droitwich finished third and Cinderford 8th, the Foresters were one of just 3 sides that Spa failed to defeat in 2025-26.
Town have maintained numerous faces from the end of last season, where they were one of the form sides as they lost just two of their last 12 games.
Prolific striker Jack Watts netted a brace against Spa last season, in Town's 0-4 win at Kingy's and the front man will be the one to watch on Tuesday evening.
New Spa Manager Quentin Townsend will take his place in the home dugout for the first time in a competitive game at Kingy's, as Spa will hope to replicate Saturday's performance (but not result!) at Roman Glass to get up and running for the season.
The Saltmen have an Away tie at MFL Premier side Dudley Town in the Emirates FA Cup on Froday night, whilst on Saturday Cinderford face a 3rd straight Away game as they make a long journey to Thatcham Town in the same competition.
We look forward to welcoming back all Spa supporters to Kingy's on Tuesday and wish everyone connected to Cinderford a safe trip up to Worcestershire.
